Christmas Breakdown

Christmas break could not have come at a better time for me. Break was:

  • Playing in the snow
  • Arts and Crafts shows, and a new favorite kitty shirt
  • A McNellie’s bullseye
  • LOTS of sleep
  • Three toothbrushes in three days (One lost to a stranger using it (who does that?!) and another used as a key to escape our bathroom…ick)
  • Old friends in new settings
  • Realizing how many good friends I have made that are not from Tulsa (who I missed terribly over break)
  • Singing the music of Charlotte’s Web until my sister was forced to sing along
  • Trying to make myself eat again (and failing most of the time)
  • Lots of cleaning and recycling, and recleaning and more recycling
  • J’Amie, Private School Girl
  • Stolen credit card(s) and investigative reporting
  • Shopping until I almost dropped in OKC
  • Almost a week in Dallas organizing an apartment and thinking about how to better organize my life
  • New Years and new bruises
  • disappointments from people I didn’t expect and discoveries in places I didn’t know
  • A few too many 4 a.m. bedtimes
  • The Great Mouse Detective
  • brewery tours at Marshall’s and Prairie
  • Christmas parties here, there and everywhere
  • Going out dressed as an angel (my truest form, obviously)
  • A much needed break

I hope your break was everything you hoped and more. Mine definitely was.
